We all know Mitchell is great, but today he seriously received the husband of the year award. So much so he deserves his own blog post. ;)

This morning Sarah, Kayla and I set off for the Prado Museum. Not thinking I put my cell phone on the roof of my car to grab Henry's guitar. Yep you guessed it, I drove off with it still on the roof. 40 minutes later I realized what is done and panicked a little.

Mitchell did an iCloud search and found it on the on ramp of the A1 (really busy interstate equivalent). Without asking (or my knowing) he left his meeting and drove to try to find it. In the meantime I was trying to enjoy amazing art pieces while formulating a plan of how I could actually retrieve my phone and not get hit by a car.

Sarah convinced me to go and look for it and they'd continue on at the Prado. As soon as I got back to my car Mitchell sent me a text that said he had my phone!! He had found it, retrieved it (not gotten hit by a car) and it was completely fine...not broken at all!!!

What a seriously awesome man!! It is bad enough to lose a phone in your own country where you can communicate your mishaps. I was completely dreading the process of getting a new phone, SIM card, keeping the same number etc.

So my darling husband thank you from the bottom of my heart!! I know you are crazy busy and it was my ridiculous mistake, but I seriously appreciate you saving me! You are totally awesome and I love you!!
