First Full Week in Madrid
The kids had a fantastic week of school. Jess and I are so thankful that they all are enjoying their teachers and their classes. Instead of kicking and screaming when he's supposed to be getting ready for school, Truman wakes up, asks Jess if it's a school day, and whoops out a loud "YES!!!" with a fist pump if she tells him it is. It's just amazing.
More important than the kids' education, however is that after 5 years of living without them, Jess is once again living in a country that serves Pumpkin Spice Latte's at Starbucks. It's the new arrival at our local Starbucks in Pozuelo. Jess was so excited when she saw it she had to take a picture. :)
Jess has been putting in extra hours getting ready for Priscilla's arrival. She went to IKEA and picked out furniture and rearranged the kids' rooms to accommodate her dresser. Addi's desk is now upstairs on the third floor and looks more like Addi's "office". Priscilla's crib is in our bedroom, but I'm hoping in vain that she'll magically prefer sleeping Addi or Truman's room.
