We met with Dr. M.for over an hour to review Priscilla's file today. She went through each and every document and result and even watched the 6.5 minute video in its entirety. She told us that she didn't see any signs of mental retardation and based on her new height and weight measurements we received she was doing great. Her heart condition didn't seem to be affecting her growth at the moment. She said she may have a little development delay, but that is normal for a child in an orphanage and she would quickly advance once she got home. She also reiterated what Dr. L. had said about her ASD diagnosis. She thought her hole would need correction eventually, but as far as heart issues go, it was straight forward and "easy". She gave us her personal contact information and said as soon as we got her to call and she would set up her cardiology appointment with Dr. L.and then an appointment to see her. She said we should be good to go as soon as we land back in the US! Dr. M. was another answered prayer and a gift from God!
